The piece is my first integration of a textile element into my work because of the yarn. I took some snarled wool yarn and placed it in the receptacle of the unknown vintage kitchen tool and then just began to do repeated random knotting of the yarn and tying small springs to it. The result is the curly-q look that is meant to evoke the wool on a sheep. For the wolf elements I incorporate a rusty piece of hardware that is of an unknown origin and I used rusty wire to attach it to the sheep's body. Leather ears, a beaded tail and small beads for the eyes complete the story. Similar to other works of mine are the kinetic elements of the piece because the tail moves and the neck turns.
